The winter was so mild and spring continues to tease us with her delights. The trillium is blooming and it is time to do spring clean up. Now is the time to mulch flower beds, weed and feed your yard and be sure to clean out your culvert under the driveway. Apple Mountain Lake POA does clean the ditch lines but we ask homeowners for their help as the responsibility to keep the culverts clear is the homeowner’s responsibility. Lake Paving will begin the gravel road grading and dust control treatment the middle of May. We have had a wet spring which delays the grading of the roads. We want the roads to be damp but we wait until the majority of the April showers are behind us.
