The Sheetz final plan is ready for review. The Board met in August with the Sheetz representatives who presented the preliminary plan. The Board stated a Sheetz with a truck stop as presented would not be acceptable under any circumstances. The Board also stated more screening would be needed, Night Sky compliant lighting, water conservation measures, and the proposed bus stop moved for safety.
Sheetz went back to the drawing board and the new plan eliminates the truck stop and diesel fueling for trucks, the store size was reduced, the bus stop moved, and the site moved forward towards 55.
