Home Modifications

Changes to the exterior of your home or lot must be approved in advance by the homeowners association board. Design Guidelines have been developed to maintain consistency throughout our community. Twin Lake’s Architectural Request Form can be obtained here. Homeowners are advised to submit applications well in advance of any planned improvements in order to allow adequate time for review. Beginning modifications before receiving written approval may result in fines from your association.

Trash Pickup and recycling

Regular trash pick up and recycling is provided by Republic Services. Trash and recycling is picked up on Tuesdays as of October 8th, 2019. This service is paid through your HOA dues. Other than trash day, please remember to keep all trash receptacles in your garage or out of view from the street.  Trash cans may be placed on the side of your home provided it is blocked from view. All bags need to be in containers. Please visit their website for more information. https://www.republicservices.com/

Lawn Care and LANDSCAPING

Maintenance of the common area is provided by Advantage Property Management. Advantage will mow as well as seasonally mulch and maintain common area landscaping. All homeowners are responsible for maintaining their own yards. If you have any concerns about Advantage’s service, please contact your Community Manager.

Snow removal is provided by the Virginia Department of Transportation and is not controlled by the Association. For questions or concerns about snow removal, please contact VDOT directly
